Description

The story of the fifth Vale D. Maria begins in this wine that is born in the heart of the farm. Over 60 years of age, the vineyards have guidance mainly to south, nascent and west. The Fifth Vale D. Maria, prepared with 41 different castes, was traditionally vinified through the manual vintage and the foot in granite mills. This is a wine of great density and complexity, with intense aromas, enormous freshness and great aging capacity in the bottle.

Winemaking and aging: Manual vintage with berry selection. The grapes are then deceived and foothed in mills and the fermentation that occurs in stainless steel and/or stainless steel vats. The wine makes the malo fermentation in 225 -liter French oak barrels and internship then for 21 months in French oak barrels.

TEST NOTES: The aromatic richness that stands out of red fruits such as wild blackberry, raspberry and ripe cherry characterizes the fifth Valley D. Maria Douro Tinto 2018. Elegant and concentrated structure. Successional in mouth, it is balanced, fresh and with a ending ending.
