Brick red with a golden hue. In its complex aroma, vibrant young fruit blends deliciously with the attractive and characteristic aromas of dried fruits. On the palate it is rich and smooth, exhibiting an elegant structure and a long finish.
Winemaking:
This is a blend of aged Port wines with an average age of ten years. At ten years old, the wine has already acquired the classic tawny characteristics of dried fruit, berries, and spices, but also maintains a vibrant freshness that is one of the hallmarks of Romaneira tawnies. The grapes were foot-trodden and vinified in stainless steel vats with temperature control between 25 and 28 degrees Celsius. Aging in old 640-liter oak barrels. The old Tawnies spend their entire life in a barrel until the final blending.
