Aged for 7 years in oak barrels in the silence of our cellars, it acquires a genuine and distinct aroma. It has a reddish-brown hue. The aroma is refined, including dried fruit, ripe red with notes of raspberry. On the palate, it presents an elegant, sweet, and velvety bouquet.
Winemaking:
The so-called " Colheitas " are the highest quality Port wines, originating from the single colheita mentioned on the label. Their organoleptic characteristics are exceptional, and all aging takes place in wooden barrels. The commercialization of " Colheitas " can only begin after eight years of aging, and bottling, the year of which is indicated on the back label, precedes shipment. " Colheitas " Port wines are placed on the market at the peak of their quality, and therefore do not improve with aging.
