With a very deep, almost black, purple color. A highly concentrated and fruity aroma, with notes of jam, blackberry, and plum. The great sensation on the palate reveals all the complexity of the fruit's flavor; a full-bodied and balanced wine with a soft and velvety finish, a long and lingering aftertaste. A vintage wine with great aging potential.
Winemaking:
LBV is a Port wine from a single colheita , produced in a year of good quality. Bottled between the 4th and 6th year after the harvest, in contrast to Vintage Port, LBV benefits from considerable aging in oak barrels. With a style derived from Vintage Port, LBVs are excellent wines. They are composed of blends of the best wines from one year.
