Blended consistently, this medium-bodied fine Port combines the elegance of its fruity flavor with a smooth taste that aging in oak barrels begins to impart to the blend. Rich, full aromas of fresh fruit and licorice. Excellent fruitiness. Good quality fruit and a perfect balance.
Winemaking:
Real Companhia Velha ages its Royal Oporto Standard Tawny for an average of 5 years, a substantially higher rate than most of its competitors, who only meet the minimum 3 years required by law.
