Description
Concept
Sexy Branco “Fleur blanche” is a wine resulting from the natural fermentation of the Antão Vaz, Roupeiro, and Fernão Pires grape varieties. The vineyards are partly under integrated production methods and partly under organic production methods, both certified; the winemaking process involves low intervention, for the pure expression of Alentejo nature.
Winemaking
Manual night harvesting to ensure fresh grapes, followed by direct pressing without any crushing (the grapes never touch any pumps). Then, natural cold settling, without any additives. Fermentation at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks without any barrels (unoaked).
Exam Notes
Citrus yellow in color, with an exuberant aroma of tropical fruits and notes of orange blossom setting the tone. On the palate, it attacks with good volume where the good fruit is balanced with perfect acidity. The finish is quite persistent.
