Description
Soalheiro Alvarinho is known as the "Classic", as it was the first wine to be made by the family in 1982. Since then, it continues to be our classic style of a single varietal Alvarinho variety, with aromatic freshness, intense flavor and an extraordinary potential for evolution in the bottle - it is a wine that clearly goes with any occasion!
Vinification: The grapes are harvested by hand. After pressing and before fermentation, the must is clarified at low temperature. The wine ferments in stainless steel and ages in contact with fine lees before bottling. The vinification of Soalheiro Alvarinho is aimed at obtaining a wine that enhances the quality of the grapes and allows a good evolution after bottling.
Tasting Notes: Soalheiro Alvarinho has a bright lemon-yellow colour. This wine is distinguished by its fresh and elegant aroma, immediately revealing, on the nose, the extraordinary complexity of the Alvarinho variety. The flavor of this wine, with intense tropical and mineral notes, is perfectly balanced with the acidity and its moderate alcohol content.
