A white wine from old vines and a single-vineyard wine, born in the place where it all began for the Souvall project, in vineyards planted by Américo Ferraz's father, Mr. Álvaro, who still helps to care for them, and where there is a whole range of good white grapes — this white comes from the “Seara Velha”, 60-80 years old, but right next to it is the “Seara Super Velha”, where there are promising minority varieties such as Arinto Gordo and Donzelinho —, at an altitude ranging from 500 to 700 meters. A beautiful straw yellow color. It offers a citrus nose, with notes of stone fruit and fruit trees as well, and minerality — it seems we can smell the very lean transitional soils from schist to granite. And in the mouth it explodes. Full of flavor, it's a delightful surprise.
