Susana Esteban: "Castelão has always surprised me with its ability to produce structured and highly complex wines while maintaining its delicacy and freshness. All these characteristics remind me of Burgundy wines, which is why I challenged Dirk Niepoort, a great connoisseur and admirer of Burgundy wines, to make a 'Shameless' Castelão. The result will certainly surprise you."
Cherry red color. Intense aroma of red fruits, predominantly cherry. The wood is perfectly integrated, both in the aroma and on the palate. Very balanced, smooth tannins, elegant and structured with a long and delicious finish.
