It was in the 90s when the Parish of Vila Garcia, Municipality of Amarante, was given the title of “Pilot Parish of the Vinho Verde Region”, which further fueled the need to build a legacy.
Thus, in 1992, the Teixeira family had the audacity to create the old winery, known today as Quintas de Vila Garcia. With this legacy and knowledge of those who do and know how to do well, we maintained the mission and vision by applying all the knowledge and innovation, combined with the knowledge to observe and improve, respecting values, life and nature.
The grapes of the Azal and Arinto varieties that give rise to this VG Grande Escolha White come from one of the most beautiful plots of Quintas de Vila Garcia. The result of a perfect combination of sun exposure, Terroir and “Savoir Faire”, they result in an exceptional, unique and impressive wine. Full-bodied, balanced and complex, it presents aromas of ripe tropical fruit and light notes of wood.
