Description
Red fruits are present on the nose, with aromas of blackberries, strawberries, and dark beer. On the palate, the wine is velvety, maintaining the strength and concentration typical of wines from this sub-region. The wine gains volume, and the fruit aromas fill the palate. The finish is long and fresh.
Just as Queen Maria II allowed navigation on the river towards the Upper Douro, we ventured up the Douro and selected some grape varieties that reflect the intensity and minerality of this sub-region. With a fruity and fresh character, the Vale D. Maria Douro Superior red wine surprises with its velvety and full-bodied complexity.
