Description

Quinta do Vallado – Prima differs from classic Moscatels because it is dry. This wine comes from two vineyards: 50% from an old Moscatel vine over 30 years old and 50% from a vine planted in the mid-1990s. A technique called skin maceration (pre-fermentative contact of the skins with the liquid) was used in the winemaking. The grapes were vinified using the open spout system. Fermentation lasted approximately 1 month at a controlled temperature between 14º and 16º C. The wine aged for 3 months in stainless steel vats.

Tasting notes:
Very subtle aromas with floral flavors of roses and peppermint. In the mouth it is delicate, with a predominance of floral flavors and a fresh finish.
