Scalla De Sousa 10 Years Tawny with individual wooden box
Winemaking:
The Vieira de Sousa Tawny 10 years is produced with grapes from our vineyards next to the Douro River. It is fermented with foot treading in mills. Once fortified with vinous brandy, the wine ages many years on hooves and in old oak vats.
Test results:
Brick/brownish red in color, with delicate aromas to dried fruits and notes of dried fruits, figs and ripe plum. It demonstrates the evolution of wood and is very well balanced on the palate.
