Vieira De Sousa 20 Anos White

An elegant, fine white port with a high aromatic complexity, made with lots of old white port wine of exceptional quality. All of these were fermented in lagares with a long maceration of the skins and aged in barrels for decades, giving rise to this golden wine. The white grapes, from our vineyards, suffer from oxidative handling and a good extract from prolonged maceration in granite vats. After the addition of brandy, the White Port is aged in casks. This Port is a very elegant wine, with a high aromatic complexity, originating from oxidative handling. Golden in color, it has complex aromas where nuts, orange peel and even dried figs stand out.
