Vieira De Sousa 30 Years Old White

An elegant, refined white port with a high aromatic complexity, crafted from batches of exceptionally high-quality aged white port wines. All of these were fermented in traditional lagares (traditional stone vats) with long skin maceration and aged in casks for decades, resulting in this golden wine. The white grapes, sourced from our vineyards, undergo oxidative processing and achieve good extract from prolonged maceration in granite lagares. After the addition of wine brandy, the white port ages in shades of gold. This port is a very elegant wine with high aromatic complexity, originating from oxidative processing. Golden in color, it presents complex aromas highlighting nuts, orange peel, and even dried figs.
