Description

The bouquet is an explosion of aromas, presenting delicate floral notes that bounce against intense, dark red fruits, such as dried plums and dark, very ripe berries. Spiced vanilla and coconut from aging in two types of oak (French and American). The taste is a multidimensional journey: overwhelmingly smooth, an awakening of the senses. Ready to be enjoyed, but promising an incredible future.

VINIFICATION
2020, dry weather and mild temperatures with little or no precipitation, low levels of humidity, and unlike previous years, there were no irregular or extreme meteorological phenomena that affected production (such as heavy and sudden rains, hail storms, extreme heat, scalds and dehydration of the vine), especially during the flowering phase. Vineyard disease pressure was very low, with no notable mildew attacks, which in turn led to less intervention in the vineyard. The veraison took place in mid-July, with the vines showing notable vitality, a clear sign of increased productivity.
The harvest began at the end of August with hot days and cooler nights, allowing for uniform maturation and good acidity.

After careful selection in the vineyard, the grapes were transported to the cellar in small 20kg wicker baskets and then transferred to cold rooms, where they were cooled to avoid premature fermentation. Crushing and de-stemming were followed by a long period of maceration and fermentation in stainless steel vats, with temperature control. The wine aged in French and American oak barrels for a period of 12 months before bottling.
