Side Dishes: Costeletas suculentas. Os taninos arrojados do Vilarissa casam com a textura carbonizada do bife grelhado. Costeletas de Porco em alho e alecrim com mostarda, parmesão e batata doce assada.
It has a clear and shiny appearance, with a vibrant purple color. The aroma highlights notes of red and violet fruits, harmoniously combined with touches of toast and vanilla. The palate is complex and well balanced, with soft tannins and a long finish.
Winemaking:
After selecting the best plots of Touriga Nacional, the grapes were transported to the cellar in 20 kg boxes. Fermentation began after 24 hours of skin maceration in a mill, continuing subsequently in stainless steel vats for around 8 days, with a controlled temperature between 20 and 24ºC. Part of the batch was aged for 15 months in used French and American oak barrels, while the rest remained in stainless steel vats to preserve and accentuate the aromatic characteristics of the variety in the final batch.
