Description
Viña Mayor Reserva 2009 is a A reserve red wine from the Ribera del Duero designation of origin, produced by Bodegas y Viñedos Viña Mayor.
Selected grapes from vineyards with an average age between 50 and 70 years, as they provide concentration, and noble tannins that provide the necessary support for subsequent aging in barrels.
Aged in French and American oak barrels from Bordeaux.
Viña Mayor Reserva 2009 It has a deep layer, with a burgundy border and cardinal reflections, clean and bright.
Intense and expressive nose, with dark fruits and notes of elegant aging and complexity. Cocoa and balsamic nuances. With good support from ripe grape fruits.
Full-bodied and voluminous flavor, elegant mid-palate and long aftertaste. Powerful on the palate, with silky tannins and well-integrated fine wood.
