Winemaking of Vinha D'Ervideira Colheita Seleccionada Tinto 2021: The grape varieties are vinified separately. Trincadeira, Alicante Bouschet, and Cabernet Sauvignon ferment in stainless steel lagares with mechanical treading, at a controlled temperature of 25ºC. The Aragonês variety ferments in horizontal tanks (vinimatics). Aged for 6 months in French and American oak barrels.
Ervideira Colheita Selecionada Tinto is an award-winning Alentejo DOC wine. A blend of Trincadeira, Aragonês, Alicante Bouschet and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, it results in a garnet-colored wine with aromas of plum, wild berries and spices. On the palate it is smooth, with a noticeable and elegant structure that lingers on the finish and pairs very well with red meat dishes.
