Vinha Grande is a classic and intense Douro red wine with a well-defined character, reflecting all the richness and quality of the region in creating the best blended wines. Vinha Grande is part of the Casa Ferreirinha range, the house with the longest tradition in quality wines in the Douro and one of its greatest global references.

Casa Ferreirinha and its wines are synonymous with time and art. This has been the case since its founding in the 18th century by Bernardo Ferreira, a formula refined by his descendants, especially his granddaughter Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira, affectionately known as "Ferreirinha" or "Ferreirinha-da-Régua" by the people of her homeland. Under Dona Antónia's guidance, twice widowed, she found herself at the helm of a large company, which consolidated itself admirably. Her entrepreneurial spirit taught her to foresee, decide, create, teach, and love, making her a figure of great prominence and charisma.
