Sogrape Vinhos was founded in 1942 by Fernando van Zeller Guedes, with the ambition of introducing Portuguese wines to the world and a long-term vision based on the quality of the wines to be marketed, the importance of brand innovation, and the presentation of its wines. Today led by the third generation of the founding family, Sogrape Vinhos is increasingly fulfilling the objective it has held since its foundation: to be a family-owned company with an international vocation, focused on the production of quality wines, innovation, and the development of Portuguese brands of global standing. Sogrape Vinhos owns approximately 830 hectares of vineyards in Portugal.
Casa Ferreirinha and its wines are synonymous with time and art. This has been the case since its founding in the 18th century by Bernardo Ferreira, a formula refined by his descendants, especially his granddaughter Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira, affectionately known as "Ferreirinha" or "Ferreirinha-da-Régua" by the people of her homeland. Under Dona Antónia's guidance, twice widowed, she found herself at the helm of a large company, which consolidated itself admirably. Her entrepreneurial spirit taught her to foresee, decide, create, teach, and love, making her a figure of great prominence and charisma.
