Description

Lagoalva Dona Isabel Juliana Branco (often referred to as Lagoalva Dona Isabel Juliana Grande Reserva Branco) is a complex and gastronomic white wine from the Tejo region, which stands out for its elegance and structure.

The production of Lagoalva Dona Isabel Juliana Branco involves the separate vinification of the Alvarinho, Viosinho, and Fernão Pires grape varieties, with the aim of creating a complex and gastronomic wine. The grapes are harvested manually, and the clarified must of each variety ferments at 18ºC in 500L French oak barrels. The wine then ages in these barrels, gaining volume, complexity, and notes of spices and vanilla that complement the freshness and fruitiness of the final blend.

Exam Notes

Lagoalva Dona Isabel Juliana Branco has a pale yellow color. The aroma is complex, with notes of white fruits (pear), hints of orange and tropical fruits, an elegant mineral touch, and notes of vanilla and wood spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied, fresh and balanced, with good volume and a round, milky sensation, finishing with notes of ripe vegetal notes.
