On the vast map of the Douro Valley, there's a small point marking an old dream. It's located in the village of Muxagata, in the municipality of Vila Nova de Foz Côa, in the Douro Superior sub-region, where some of the best Portuguese wines are produced. It was there that, a decade ago, Pedro Garcias, a journalist and wine critic, began to develop his own wine project, named MAPA, with the purchase of his first lands. Currently, the farm comprises two estates, with a vineyard area of approximately 30 hectares.

Color: Pale yellow

Flavor and Aroma: It elegantly and discreetly evokes citrus fruit and white pulp in its aroma. On the palate, it is very mineral, finishing in a very lively and fresh way. Thanks to its excellent acidity, it even resembles a Vinho Verde, although the ripe fruit felt on the palate does not hide its Douro origins.

Castes: Arinto, Gouveio, Rabigato, Viosinho
