Descrição
Deep, light violet-red color with a hint of purple. On the nose it is sweet and elegant, very intense, showing great aromatic complexity. The freshness of the floral and bergamot notes is balanced with the black fruits and flora of the region, rockrose and rosemary, very typical of the Douro Superior. Aging in new barrels has contributed to enhancing all the aromatic richness, presenting discreet notes of toast, vanilla and toast. On the palate it presents extreme elegance and intensity, velvety, voluminous and very structured. It has smooth, high-quality tannins that give it great soul; the finish is fruity, intense, persistent and of great finesse.
In the vineyards of Freixo de Espada à Cinta, the grapes of the Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Franca varieties are selected and harvested, and after careful vinification, they produce this wine that carries within it the "terroir" of Freixo.
A young and fruity wine with notes of spice, aged briefly in wood, ideal for leisure moments and pairing with food.
