Craigellanchie 13 Year Old

Craigellachie 13 Year Old is a whisky produced in Speyside, Scotland. The Craigellachie distillery still uses stills with a coil cooling system, as was done in the late 19th century, but which is much less common today. This whisky is also not chill-filtered and is bottled at 46% ABV.

This intentional choice results in a whisky that highlights the flavor of malted barley more than the influence of aging, which still adds complexity.

The color of this Craigellachie, 13 years old, is a pale golden-skinned child.

On the nose, it presents itself as fresh, with malted barley accompanied by herbaceous notes and a touch of citrus.

On the palate, notes of mild spices emerge, quickly complemented by fruity aromas, while the malted barley remains very present. The persistent finish is marked by spices and fresh fruit.
