Description
Created to be a sweeter and lighter Blended Scotch Whisky, this was the first whisky created by Stephanie Macleod. Thanks to Dewar's unique double aging process and its golden water source, Dewar's 15 Year Old is extraordinarily smooth, with flavor notes of honey, caramel and florals.
Dewar's 15 Year Old Whisky is aged twice to achieve extra smoothness.
Most whiskies are aged only once, but at Dewar's things are done a little differently.
Selected malt whiskies and fine grain whiskies are aged separately in oak barrels for a minimum of 15 years.
Master blender Stephanie Macleod blends whiskies that have been aged separately before aging them again in oak barrels.
This extra step is where the magic truly happens. The whiskies "marry" to create an incredibly smooth drink, enjoyed worldwide.
