Description
In 1923, Shinjiro Torii glimpted a whisky full of the essence of Japanese nature and artisans craft through a patient process of enhancing nature's work. He dreamed of creating subtle, refined and still complex whiskey that would suit the delicate palate of the Japanese and enhanced the gastronomic experience. Although initially inspired by traditional Scotch whisky, Torii envisioned a Japanese approach by choosing a completely different terrain and climate than Scotland's. Torii chose the Yamazaki region, on the outskirts of Kyoto, as the birthplace of Japanese whiskey.
Proof Notes: Luminous. Delicate. A transparency that reveals the complexity.
Color: Amber.
Nariz: Rose, lichia, alacrim, wood bean.
Palate: Sweet Honeylike, orange peel confit, white chocolate.
Finish: Subtle, long contest, with an indication of Mizunara (Japanese oak).
Tips to improve your drinking pleasure
1. Heat the glass by filling it with hot water.2. Serve in the glass a third to a quarter with Whisky.3.Add two to three times that amount of hot water.4. Slightly mix with a cold.5. Enjoy it. Hot whiskey goes well with lots of different toppings, including lemon and other citrus fruits. Or why not create yours? Cinnamon sticks, perhaps, herbs like diode or basil, even confit or dried apples. Water should ideally be at a temperature of 80 ° C. Be sure to warm the glass with hot water before pouring the whiskey. This drink can also be enjoyed outdoors in a small Sierra glass: it really warms you when you're in the mountains or at the riverside.
