Description
Compared to other bourbons, Woodford Reserve has a higher percentage of rye (72% corn, 18% rye and 10% malted barley) and is the result of triple distillation followed by aging for around 6 years.
COLOR: Clean and bright honey amber.
NOSE: Heavy with rich dried fruit, mint and orange notes covered with a layer of cocoa. Light vanilla and tobacco spices.
PALATE: Rounded and smooth, with complex citrus, cinnamon and cocoa. Notes of caramel, chocolate and spices are abundant.
FINAL: Smooth and silky, almost creamy at first, with a long, warm tail.
