This special edition of Casa Relvas celebrates the unforgettable album “88”, while noting 15 years of the partnership of the Alentejo producer with the mythical band rock band.

Casa Relvas celebrates once again the legacy of the Xutos & Pontapés, with the special edition “Casa Relvas Xutos & Pontapés 88”, this time in a tribute to the iconic album "88". Released in 1988, this album brings together some of the band's biggest hits, such as “In My Way” or “For You Maria”, becoming a milestone in the history of Portuguese rock.

“This partnership of Casa Relvas with the Xutos already has 15 years old, and has been a pride and huge pleasure for us, years after year, releasing a "bottled" version of the music of the most emblematic band of Portuguese rock. Add our wine to such charismatic musicians, as is the case with the Xutos, is to celebrate and value what is ours, our culture and tradition. And I leave you the suggestion of gathering friends, opening a bottle of this wine, and but the "88" playing, and you will see that the taste is different, in the way of the Xutos. This 2022 harvest is both a tribute from Casa Relvas and Xutos & Pontapés to the mythical album released in 1988, but also a tribute to the band's legion.” - says Alexandre Relvas.

 This limited edition of 8,888 Magnum bottles (1.5L), from the 2022 harvest, is available with special packaging, promises to win both fans of the band and the lovers of good wines. Made from the Bouschet, Aragonez and Touriga Nacional castes, this red reveals a striking intensity. Its deep grenna color reflects the richness of wine, while the complex aromas of black fruits, subtlely complemented by fresh notes of menthol and tobacco, make it especially captivating. In the mouth, the freshness and remarkable balance of this wine stand out, with well-structured tannins that give it elegance. The ending is persistent, revealing all its complexity.
